Enchanting, Historic Venue for Your Wedding
Clise Mansion began in 1904 when James Clise, a Seattle-based banker, purchased property on which to build a hunting lodge. By 1907, the original building grew to 28 rooms, and Clise acquired additional acreage to include 400-acres.
The Clise family had years of enjoyment at the estate, affectionately called Willowmoor. It was a self-sufficient estate which was renowned for its progressive farming activities and methods. Sold by its original owners in 1921, the estate continued as a working farm and eventually a museum.
Today, the property is a highly sought-after event venue. With a historic setting, lush and manicured grounds, and rolling landscapes, it is a storybook-worthy setting for a wedding.

The Entry Parlor
Start the evening by receiving your guests in our spacious Entry Parlor. With space to leave gifts, guestbook signing, and offering directions, your guests will make their grand entrance in style. From here, your guests will also be able to make their way into The Great Room, courtyard, Gardens, and more.
The Great Room
The largest of all the indoor spaces at Clise Mansion, the Great Room is perfect for wedding ceremonies. And, because the kitchen is located just off the Great Room, it's also ideal for dinner service—whether you decide on buffet style or plated—and for dancing the night away. Designed to be the Mansion's entertainment space, it was designed with a stunning view over the Marymoor Park grounds.
The Library
Our expansive estate abides by all the conventions of early 20th century design and leisure. Without a charming library, would it really be the mansion of your dreams? We think not.
Enjoy the coziness and warmth of an antique library. This 306 square foot room is lined with original solid oak bookcases and illuminated by colorful stained-glass windows. Get lost in the spirit of nostalgia and mystery while enjoying the Library's charming atmosphere.
The Billiard Room
While the Great Room might be the largest of the Mansion's entertainment spaces, the Billiard Room comes in a close second with 622 square feet of space. It is truly a blank canvas, ready to be decorated according to your personal taste. Transform the Billiard Room into an expression of your imagination.
The Kitchen
No wedding is complete without an accessible kitchen. Whether you are looking to put the finishing touches on a wedding cake or rinse the wine glasses before dessert, this kitchen will surely satisfy your needs.
Our kitchen comes ready with a modern commercial oven, stove, grills, and refrigeration system. It's perfect for preparing meals for large and small weddings. Our kitchen is professional and equipped.
The Courtyard
If there's one part of Clise Mansion that stands out, it's the courtyard. Enclosed by antique brick walls, the courtyard boasts 1089 square feet of entertainment space. Perfect for performers, bridal parties, and the bride herself, the second-floor sitting room is designed as a quiet area to get ready for the big day. The Sitting Room is also adjacent to four dressing rooms, that offer the privacy that the star of the show requires.
